SMU School of Law

SMU’s School of Law was founded in 1925. At the time, SMU had only three buildings: Dallas Hall, Clements Hall, and the School of Theology’s Kirby Hall (now Florence Hall). The Law School and Law Library remained in Dallas Hall until 1951.
